Fair warning – I’m about to be corny AF.

Fortunately, those who know me can appreciate that about me. I’m corny, spunky, a little extra and Uber sentimental.

I bought these cheap ass roses at my grocery store the other day. They were pretty and I needed a “pick me up”, so I thought why not? I brought them home, cut them down, peeled off the old petals, added the weird “rose food” to the water and put them in it.

A day or two went by and I noticed them beginning to open. Within two days, they were opened, blooming, beautiful and full of life.
.
It made me think of myself. I felt like that $6 rose. One day, I decided to give a shit, I gave my life a change up, peeled back some layers, gave myself some goodness and BAM – I’m an MFing gorgeous, blooming rose.

Told ya – corny AF.
.
But really, it doesn’t take big, huge changes to find your happiness. You just have to want it and be willing to put in a little work.
