Believe it or not it took me some courage to put up this post,& believe it or not,I weighed 70 kgs in all those pictures.Going by my BMI, I was OVERWEIGHT.
Last year,I knew I had been gaining weight. But never had I reached the SEVEN ZERO on the scales. When I saw that, my first reaction was that four letter word & to get back on those scales again to cross check. 70kgs.
Being a flight attendant there is a certain kind of image people attach to you when they meet you both professionally & personally. Smart, well spoken, well dressed, stylish, & definitely not fat! There might be more of these adjectives but you get the point right? And most of the times I do know when someone is observing/judging me too. Let me spill the beans, in my comfort zone I am nothing like that. I hate make-up & taking bath, my hair is messy, I love pyjamas & old worn out clothes are my favourite.
Now I was fat as well, but I knew how to dress up,I knew my problem areas ( stomach & lower body). Deceptive dressing …that’s what I like to call it, was never a problem for me, maybe that’s why people never believed me when I said I am putting on weight, blame it on the heavy bones they said. Those A line dresses,flowy/loose clothes, high waist whatever, I knew what to wear & what to buy.
I never clicked a pic when I got on the scales to see the 70. But I did when I was 69.9 .
2 days back I completed a month of clean eating & working out. I have lost 2 kgs, a few inches around my stomach & gained muscles. Your hardwork does pay off!
I am proud of my deceptive dressing, but I wish I never have to do it again in my life!
Let me know if you believed me that I was getting so fat, let me know if you didn’t 🤭
